Those learning to toddle can roll along from the comfort of their pushchairs and older siblings can jog alongside too - the more the merrier! So gather your toddlers and get fundraising!
It is a wonderful way for little ones to learn about helping others by raising vital funds to help the NHS. All the money raised will help us to do more for the tiniest and most vulnerable patients we care for.
Date
You can choose to host your Tiny Toes Toddle on any date which suits you in June or July 2025.
Location
Your Tiny Toes Toddle can be indoors or out. You could take part at your nursery, school or play group. Why not take your Tiny Toes Toddle to your local park or woodland trail?
Distance
A gentle half-mile walk is just right.
Cost
It's free to take part but we'd like you to raise as much as possible through sponsorship.
Who will benefit?
Babies from Rotherham and beyond, born prematurely or who are poorly and need extra care, will benefit from the funds you raise. We hope to create a comforting home from home for their families too, so they can spend precious time together when it really matters the most.
Invite others to join in the fun
We know that great things happen when communities come together to fundraise. Your Tiny Toes Toddle is the perfect opportunity to bring everyone together. Why not invite parents, siblings and grandparents along to your event, or open your doors to other families in the community too?
Create an inspiring theme
Why not create a theme for your event to inspire what you wear and any additional activities? You could challenge your tots to dress in rainbow colours, as superheroes, jungle or farmyard animals, or simply in blue - just like our iconic NHS blue scrubs and uniforms.
Make it tasty
Everyone loves a tasty treat, so why not add something extra scrumptious to your Tiny Toes Toddle by including a tea party, picnic or cake sale for your toddlers, family and friends to enjoy?
Make it colourful
Your play group, nursery or school could offer face painting to help everyone get into character. You could include a colouring competition or make your own superhero or animal themed masks to wear, with a suggested donation from parents, carers or guardians.
Encourage sponsorship
Your children can ask their family and friends to sponsor them for their toddle.
You can use a traditional paper sponsorship form or create a Just Giving page. Just Giving allows you to send a link to your page via email, WhatsApp and on social media.
We can also provide you with charity collection tins to encourage cash donations.
