Chartered Society of Physiotherapy strike action
The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) has announced its members will strike on 26 January at employers across England as part of national industrial action over NHS pay. This includes Physiotherapists and support workers at The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust. This will impact on some of our services and some appointments may be rescheduled.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is happening?
Trade unions representing NHS staff are in dispute with the Government over the 2022/2023 pay award. A number of the unions have balloted their NHS members to take part in industrial action. As a result members of the CSP, including staff at The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust, are going on strike on Thursday 26 January.
The NHS wants to see a resolution as soon as possible, but pay is a matter for the Government and the trade unions.
