What do I need to clean my hearing aid?
- Your hearing aid
- Cleaning rod
- Wet wipe
Daily cleaning care
Wipe the tubing and dome using a wet wipe.
Ensure it is dry afterwards.
Regular cleaning care

Separate the tubing from the hearing aid by pulling the tubing away from the hearing aid.
You do not need to disconnect the dome from the tubing.

Feed the cleaning rod through the hole in the top of the tubing until it comes out of the dome.
You may need to move the end bit of plastic out of the way to allow the cleaning rod to come out the other end.

Push the tubing and dome back into the hearing aid until it clicks in place.
Wipe down the cleaning rod as this can be reused.
How to replace the tubing

Separate the tubing from the hearing aid by pulling the tubing away from the hearing aid.
You can discard the old tubing.

Push the new tubing into the hearing aid. The tubing will click into place.
Ensure that the colour of the writing on the tube matches with the colour indicator in the battery compartment.

Your hearing aid should now look like this.
This should be repeated at least every 6 months.
