Endoscopy

Our Endoscopy team uses the latest technology to perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in a safe, comfortable and supportive environment.

Endoscopy procedures involve using a thin, flexible tube with a camera (endoscope) to examine the inside of your body through natural openings, such as your mouth. These procedures help identify and manage various conditions, providing vital information for your care.

Our service is available by appointment only. If you’re experiencing certain symptoms, your healthcare professional may refer you for an endoscopy.

The type of procedure depends on your symptoms and the area of your body being assessed.

Types of endoscopy we offer

  • Colonoscopy: Examines your bowels through your bottom.
  • Cystoscopy: Investigates the bladder through the urethra (where urine exits).
  • Bronchoscopy: Looks at your lungs and airways through your mouth or nose.
  • Gastroscopy: Assesses the oesophagus (food pipe), stomach and part of the small intestine via your mouth.

Your health and wellbeing are our top priorities, and we aim to provide every patient with a positive and reassuring experience.
