Pharmacy

The Pharmacy team visit wards and departments to offer help and advice to patients and staff on the use of medicines. They make sure patients have the right medicines, either through use of their own medicine, or through our dispensary. 

Medicines needed for patients who have left hospital, and outpatients, are supplied through the dispensary. Long term treatment is given for 28 days, giving patients time to arrange further supplies from their own GP.
